Jess Gaspar

Director of Research—Multi-Asset Solutions

Jess Gaspar is Director of Research for Multi-Asset Solutions, overseeing research for the firm’s multi-asset strategies. Previously, he served as head of asset allocation and research at Commonfund, an investment organization serving the nonprofit community. Prior to that, Gaspar was director of research for the global macro hedge fund Cornerstone Quantitative Investment Group, and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Before joining the private sector, he was a professor of economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he taught international economics and computational methods in economics and finance to MBAs and PhDs. Gaspar holds a BS in environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in international economics from Stanford University. He is also a coauthor of Commodity Investing: Maximizing Returns Through Fundamental Analysis, published by Wiley Finance. Location: New York
