Susan Hutman is a Senior Vice President, Director of Investment Grade Corporate Credit Research and Director of the Fixed Income Responsible Investing Strategy. In Credit Research, she oversees a team that provides fundamental analysis of global investment-grade credits. In that capacity, Hutman is also responsible for managing AB Fixed Income’s broader CRISIL relationships, which includes working with a team of 19 analysts based in India and Argentina. In her role in Responsible Investing, she is focused on ESG integration and engagement across the fixed-income research platform, leveraging her role in the firm-wide Responsible Investing Steering Committee. Hutman joined AB in 1999 as a fundamental credit research analyst and covered a range of consumer and commodity sectors before being named Director of Investment Grade Corporate Credit Research in 2018. Before joining the firm, she worked as a fixed-income salesperson at PaineWebber. Hutman holds a BA in economics from Barnard College, Columbia University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
